Materials :
Shafts are made in TiA16Nb7 forged alloy according to DIN ISO 5832-11
Characteristics :
The conical, rectangular design of the Vienna® hip stem provides the high rotational and primary stability . The cortical force transmission extends accross the metaphyseal and diaphyseal region of the femur.
The anatomical design of the inward curved region of the stems supports the PressFit anchorage in the proximal femur.
The size grading of the Vienna ® implants has been chosen such that the stem size can be adapted optimally to the anatomical occurrences of the patient. 12 sizes of the standard version and 7 sizes of the lateralised version are available.
The neck angle of the standard stems is 131°, the lateralised Vienna® stems have got a neck angle of 127° .
